By Law, the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust is charged with holding a suitable memorial and remembrance observance annually and with encouraging communities throughout the State to hold such remembrance observances. The ceremony, held in the State Capitol, coincides with similar programs held nationally and internationally. The program for 2004 will be held on April 23, 2004.
