Dedicated to the Preservation of Georgia's Civil War heritage!

Georgia Battlefields Association is a nonprofit corporation organized in 1995 by members of the Georgia Civil War Commission and authorized by the State of Georgia to:

• acquire, study, preserve and disseminate knowledge about Civil War Battlefields in Georgia
• acquire, preserve and maintain Civil War battlefields, sites, buildings and properties throughout Georgia
• install and present educational exhibits and programs
• publish materials pertaining to Georgia's Civil War heritage and battlefield sites
• restore and display artifacts and materials pertaining to the Civil War in Georgia
• promote tourism and the study of Civil War sites in Georgia
